The Bajan Jerk Box is more than just great food—it’s a celebration of Caribbean culture, family tradition and unforgettable hospitality.

My journey began in Barbados, where I learnt to cook alongside my mother. Watching her prepare traditional family meals taught me that the best food isn’t just about recipes—it’s about passion, patience and bringing people together. Those treasured family recipes have been passed down through generations and remain the foundation of every dish we serve today.

Over the years, I’ve stayed true to those authentic flavours while adding my own signature touch. I’ve carefully refined many of our recipes to make them enjoyable for everyone, including those who prefer milder food, without losing the rich, distinctive taste that makes Caribbean cuisine so special. For those who enjoy extra heat, we’re always happy to turn up the spice.

We specialise in authentic Caribbean catering for weddings, private parties, festivals, corporate events and special occasions throughout East Sussex and the surrounding areas. Every dish is prepared using carefully selected ingredients, bold Caribbean herbs and spices, and the attention to detail that homemade cooking deserves.

From our famous jerk chicken and slow-cooked curry goat to our homemade macaroni pie, fried dumplings,  and flavour-packed jerk sweet potato & chickpea curry, every meal is freshly prepared to deliver an authentic taste of the Caribbean.
